Haifa, Atlit Detainee Camp, Bahai Gardens, Cave of Elijah and Kangaroos

Our first stop on the way to Haifa was the Atlit Detainee Camp Museum


In the 1930's and 1940's, this site served as a detention center for Jewish immigrants seeking refuge from Europe in a British controlled Palestine.


Tens of thousands of Jewish refugees were captured by the British and brought to this detention center

Next stop the beautiful Baha'i Gardens


These are some of the most magnificent gardens in all of Israel

And receive Brachots


Making this an extra-special visit for us



Our Friday afternoon tiyul was to the Australian Animal Farm
